Annabelle’s 12th Birthday Pool Party

Annabelle turned 12 and we were not sure we would be able to celebrate with friends. It’s 2020 and we are in a pandemic. We did not plan much because everyone has been at home, sheltering in place since March 13. When her late May birthday rolled around, our state starting opening back up slowly and gathering in small groups was ok again. We had a very small group of girls that had all been home for 3 months so we felt safe. Lunch was served in personal lunch boxes and the only dessert was flamingo float cookies made by my sister. We had a beautiful sunny day and the girls had a blast seeing each other for the first time in months. Cheers to Summer!
